This is an opportunity for English language learners to practice speaking in English and receive instruction in pronunciation\, grammar\, and vocabulary. Different topics are covered each week and the classes provide an opportunity to meet fellow students and teachers\, who may be available to work with you individually. The library also provides citizenship preparation classes weekly on Wednesdays from 11:30 am 12:30 pm. Students will receive assistance learning about the US citizenship and naturalization process and preparation required for the citizenship exam. Both ESOL Conversation Club and the Citizenship Preparation classes are led by tutors from the Literacy Council of Upper Pinellas (LCUP)\, a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to teaching adult literacy skills.
